Last night the boys participated in their first Christmas performance. Their preschool put on a Christmas program with the theme "Jungle Bells". It was really cute.
Carson practiced and practiced his songs - usually at the top of his lungs while we walked through Target - and knew all of the words!
I think they both did really well. I didn't have a clue about how they would do standing up in front of a packed auditorium, but they did wonderfully and were so cute!
Here's a few of our favorite photos from the portraits we had done a few weeks back. To see more photos (there are a lot of good ones of Carson), please visit:
There have been a lot of changes going on in the last few months. We moved to Sunnyvale, CA in July so that Kat could start a new job at a biotech company in the bay area. With Kat working full time, the boys have started preschool. Here is a picture of the boys on their first day of school:
Carson is in a pre-K program and is doing great. He is learning to write his letters and numbers! It's crazy how much he is able to absorb! He's also continuing to show his athleticism - he can now make it across 4-5 rugs on the monkey bars all on his own. He is such a monkey!
Cohen is also adjusting well to his new preschool classroom. He enjoys the arts & crafts they do and playing with the other kids. We also just starting working with him on learning to pedal his own bike:
Carson still loves playing with his cars, but the roads and plots are getting more entertaining by the day:
Last week, Chris took the training wheels off Carson's bike (Carson is 3 years old, he'll be 4 next month). Carson, with just a little push-start, took off and starting riding the bike without training wheels right away! In just a couple days he learned to get started on his own and is now riding his bike like a pro! He loves to tell EVERYONE that he can ride his bike without training wheels - we're proud too!
