I have yet another cousin!

Rachel Pamela is my newest cousin. Mom is calling this the year of the babies. I think it's cool. Holidays and family events are going to be a lot of fun with a room full of cousins my own age!

Dad and I have a lot of fun together. Now that Mommy is working on Saturday mornings, Daddy and I get to spend more time playing and doing cool guy stuff. This last weekend Daddy and I went on a hike at Pinnacles National Monument again. It was great. I got to sit way up high in my backpack and look at lots of cool new things. I didn't like that Daddy stopped to take so many pictures, but other than that it was great. Other hikers always stopped to say hi to me and smile. That was fun.


Hiking is hard work. I had to take a little nap along the way.

9 months

I had my 9 month doctor's visit today. We just saw the doctor a week ago for my toe - but whatever. I weighed in at 18 lbs 12 oz and 27.75 inches. I gained 12 ounces and grew 3/4 inch in just a week!! Can you believe it? The doctor (and mommy) were really impressed. I'm getting to feed myself more these days, and I think the new foods are making me grow faster. I really like cheerios, blueberries and peas. Pasta, lentils and asparagus are growing on me.



As you can see from the picture above I am learning new things everyday! I'm pretty sure I'll be able to climb over the baby gates mom puts up really soon. I work at it a little everyday - whenever mom isn't looking!

Little Piggies

Last week I had an ouchie on my toe. One of Mommy's hairs got wrapped around my toe really tight and it squeezed my middle toe almost in half! Boy did Mommy freak out when she took off my sock and saw my swollen toe! This is a pictures she took with her cell phone on our way to the doctor's office.



It's a little out of focus, but you can still see how the hair cut into my toe. Mommy was worried the little piggy would fall off, but I knew it would be ok. I have 9 more anyways.
